What is a mother to do, when her children WILL NOT HELP HER?
The thing is, I am tired of asking, then telling, then yelling.... when the toy room needs to be cleaned up. When there are tiny shoes left on the floor. When no one else seems to see that things need to be picked up. All you hear is.... he/she is not helping....I did not do it.....I am too tired. Blah, Blah, Blah. So when I have had enough and I have given up.... camper #3 makes me smile. In his own little way, he says, "I'll help you!"

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will - to your surprise - miss them profoundly." President Thomas S. Monson

I love President Monson's quote. My children are dear to my heart, but I have moments of supreme frustration as well. There are times when I have to lock myself in my closet and beg the Lord to help me before I do something drastic. I guess it's all about learning to have charity...and boy is it difficult!
CLASSIC....
